Epic 4G Touch Issues with ODIN

So I've been trying to root my Sprint Galaxy S2 with the "easy method" you've shown with the one click extractor deal, and I get my phone to boot into that custom OS screen, plugs in, PC recognizes the phone, ODIN sees it, registers as COM3, I click start, it sits there working for a bit and then fails, every time I try it. I tried using other methods from the XDA Dev site, no dice. I loaded the official ICS about a week ago, so I'm thinking that might be messing things up. I tried to load GB back on it with ODIN, that doesn't work either. Any suggestions?

Make sure you are not using USB

Sometimes, it may take a bit for your new custom ROM to settle down as when you first install a custom ROM and you re-load all your apps, they may try to simultaneously sync.

But heating up is pretty common with Galaxy S3 smartphones in general if you are using it heavily, especially with the U.S or Canadian variants.

If it keeps happening after a day, try another custom ROM or you can always unroot your phone to test it with stock ROM.

But it’s not going to fry your phone anything, so don’t worry

Can you flash T-Mobile Galaxy S3 ROMs on AT&T Galaxy S3?

Can you flash T-Mobile Galaxy S3 ROMs on AT&T Galaxy S3?

Yes, you can usually flash T-Mobile Galaxy S3 ROMs on AT&T Galaxy S3 and vice versa.

Now, if you flash T-Mobile Galaxy S3 ROMs to AT&T Galaxy S3, you will most likely lose 4G LTE capability but your HSPA+ will still work.

If you flash AT&T Galaxy S3 ROMs to T-Mobile Galaxy S3, you won’t lose anything as T-Mobile doesn’t have 4G LTE, you will simply get HSPA+ on T-Mo.
