I cannot Install Any Apps From Play Store After Installing ROM!!! [ERROR MESSAGES]
Sometimes this may happen to you where you cannot install any apps from the Play Store or get error messages while trying to download apps after installing a new custom ROM on your Android smartphone.
Usually, this problem can be fixed by wiping cache and dalvik cache in CWM (ClockworkMod) Recovery and rebooting.
Why does this happen?
Cache and Dalvik cache are “temporary files” that reside in your Android operating system. Sometimes, they can still contain old data from your previous ROM or simply become corrupt causing havoc on Google Play Store.
But since they are only temporary files, you can easily clear/wipe them and everything will be normal again.
So if this happens to you, reboot into Recovery, wipe cache and dalvik cache. Wipe dalvik cache menu is usually under the Advanced menu. And no, this doesn’t erase anything else but temporary files.
After doing the above, my i747 still wont allow me to download anything from the play store. please help. this is after coming from the i747 kyan ROM and going back to stock with recovery!
